Some 3,000 migrants and refugees stay in the makeshift settlement where they live in very difficult conditions lacking proper housing and access to sanitation facilities. Many of them are refugees who have fled conflict, violence and persecutions in Sudan, Erithrea, Somalia, Afghanistan and Syria.

The British are legendary for their generosity and hospitality to outsiders.
Just by living on their lucky islands for a while, you can become essentially British; it’s nothing to do with ethnicity; there’s just something in the water there.
The English aren’t superior to other races, they’ve simply been blessed to live on ‘lucky islands’. You can enjoy that luck and be just like them if you live there, too. That’s all there is to it.
The islands are deceptive in size and are much larger than they appear on a map. In reality, everyone in the world could live comfortably within the geographical boundaries of the UK. And over the next few years they probably will.
The English in particular are terribly insecure and unsure about their cultural identity and always welcome contributions to the national culture that foreign newcomers bring with them.
