Doctor Holmes

Amalgam Comics was a publishing imprint shared by DC Comics and Marvel Comics, in which the two comic book publishers merged their characters into new ones (e.g., DC Comics’ Batman and Marvel Comics’ Wolverine became the Amalgam character Dark Claw).

It’s customary to refer to the Third Doctor and the Master as being a rivalry inspired by or based on that of Sherlock Holmes and Moriarty. This is absolutely correct, but what is incorrect is the attempts by some fans and the then-production team to imply it’s the literary version of Sherlock Holmes which is their inspiration. Nothing could be further from the truth.

From the beak nosed protagonist to the criminal mastermind who uses hypnotism and grisly murder methods, to the B-Movie stories and the teaming up with other enemies, the UNIT era is firmly based on and set in the kind of B-Movie universe as the BASIL RATHBONE Sherlock Holmes film series…

Doctor Who (Third Doctor) + Basil Rathbone Sherlock Holmes = DOCTOR HOLMES.

Exiled to Earth after a long distinguished career ending in a long espionage adventure in World War 1 (His Last War Games), The Doctor adopts the persona of a consulting detective and chooses some Bland pseudonym under which to operate from his surprisingly spacious rooms at 221 B Baker Street in London. After his initial successes draw attention, a well meaning somewhat comedic medical student called Jo Watson uses her uncle’s influence to have her assigned semi-permanently to Doctor Holmes as his lab assistant.

Due to Doctor Holmes originally being a Victorian and then a World War 1 era character, the adventures of the Great Detective in the 1940s have engendered what is known as the “Special UNIT Dating Controversy” which has made creating an accurate timeline of his adventures involving Inspector Lethbridge-Stewart impossible…

Frequently called in by Inspector Lethbridge-Stewart of Scotland Yard’s Special UNIT on their most baffling cases, Doctor Holmes and Jo Watson have the following recorded adventures:

Hound of the Peladons

In the mining district of Yorkshire, Doctor Holmes and Jo Watson must solve a baffling series of murders apparently committed by the dog-like heraldic monster of the ancient Peladon family…

The Adventures in Time and Space of Doctor Holmes

After his arch nemesis Master Moriarty is acquitted of a grisly murder for which everyone knows he is responsible, Doctor Holmes and Master Moriarty engage in a battle of wits across London culminating in a staggering plot involving the Crown Jewels of Rassilon…

Death to the Dazis

The Dazis, fascist rulers of central Europe enslaved by their Fuhrer Adolf Davros, have begun World War 2. In this exciting adventure Doctor Holmes aided by the well meaning Jo Watson must help British woman Kitty Shaw carry on her murdered husband’s spy work and defeat the Dazi spies planning an invasion of England! The Dazis are led by a mysterious agent known only as the Voice of the Terror of the Autons!

Doctor Holmes and the Colony in Switzerland

Called on to help the British war effort once more, Doctor Holmes and Jo Watson bring a Swiss inventor to England so his Secret Doomsday Weapon can be used against the Dazis and their allies. After the scientist goes missing, Doctor Holmes must race against time as both he and Master Moriarty try and solve the puzzle the scientist has left behind…

The Three Doctors in Washington

As World War 2 hots up, Doctor Holmes together with Jo Watson is called upon to travel to Washington DC to find a missing top secret document stolen from the Time Detectives’ files in Gallifrey, Ireland. Joining him are two earlier incarnations of Doctor Holmes- from World War 1 and the Victorian Era! All to stop the planetary spanning power of Dazi agent Omega!

Doctor Holmes Face Daemons

Called to solve a series of murders in an idyllic English village, it soon emerges that the local archaeological dig is exposing something much more sinister than the ancient Musgrave Ritual…

Planet of the Spider Woman

Forced to fake his own death and “regeneration”, Doctor Holmes wears blackface to take down the murderous Spider Woman, who is killing gamblers for their life insurance, inspired by the Great One, an equally murderous giant spider from beyond the stars who sends the Spider Woman her Metebelis Spiders to use as the perfect assassination weapon…

The Scarlet Claws of Axos

An incredibly gifted master of disguise pretends to be a red-glowing monster from out of space to carry out a spate of revenge killings…

The Pearl of Evil

A brilliant thief engineers the theft of a priceless pearl whilst he is incarcerated within Stangmoor Prison…

Doctor Holmes and the House of the Dinosaurs

In a house occupied by the League of Good Archaeologists (a men’s club dedicated to ushering in a new Golden Age), some sinister force is killing the occupants one by one. Doctor Holmes and Jo Watson become guests in the house to see if the murders really are being committed by the ghosts of dinosaurs… Or by something even more incredible…

The Woman in Green Death

A series of grisly murders where the victims, all women, are found butchered, with glowing green veins and a finger removed, are part of an epic scheme by Master Moriarty involving blackmail and a plot to contaminate the mining district of Wales…

The Frontier in Algiers / Planet of the Dazis

The culmination of his struggles against his most hated foe, Doctor Holmes and Jo Watson escort the King of Draconia back to his homeland by cruise ship whilst the enemy uses a series of hypnotic attacks and sends killers from the tiny Balkans nation of Ogronia after them. Finally in the frozen mountains of Draconia the Dazis are defeated once and for all… OR ARE THEY..?

Terror of the Autons by Night

Alien jewel thieves use their affinity for bakelite and their absolute control over formica to steal the jewel known as the Control Sphere of Rhodesia. Doctor Holmes must use all his wits to defeat the Auton Gang and their ingenious leader, Nestene Moran…

Dressed to Kill the Time Monster

“Stinky” Minelli, a school friend of Jo Watson, turns up with a strange story of cheap musical jewellery boxes manufactured in Stangmoor Prison being stolen. When Minellis the next to be murdered, Doctor Holmes and Jo Watson must leap into action to stop a complex plan by Master Moriarty and a group of crazed theosophist counterfeiters from freeing “Five Bob” Kronos from his cell in the maximum security wing of Stangmoor…

Why are World Economic Forum, IMF and World Bank being so obstinate in maintaining an increasingly discredited position?

The World Economic Forum, the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank all continue to propagate a catastrophic scenario of future climate change. Can anyone forget the IMF’s Christine Lagarde’s infamous claim at the recent World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, that if we don’t take action on climate change now, future generations will be “roasted, toasted, fried and grilled?”

One would think Lagarde — a lawyer by training, a profession founded on evidence — would not mislead billions of people in this immoral way. Even the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, which has overstated the impact of carbon dioxide and the effect of human factors on climate change over the past 25 years, has never stooped this low.

Even NASA and the IPCC have acknowledged there has been a 16-plus year natural pause in global warming. Climate expert Roger Pielke presented evidence of no trend in extreme weather…

Inconvenient Truth #65: Google Electronic Throat Tattoo (Look closer)

Yes, it’s true, the “Final Revolution” will be, just as Huxley said, when those enslaved will DEMAND to be enslaved, accepting circumstances that they ought not to…

It Was Only A Dream

Neck-tattoo-motorola

In the following patent, published November 7th 2013 by Google-owned Motorola, an “Electronic Skin Tattoo” is described (with illustrations) as below.  In this device is a battery and power supply that recharges from implanted “nano-technology”:

[From paragraph 0021] A power supply provides electrical power to the several electronic components of MCD12O. The power supply can be a rechargeable battery, but need not be so. For example, the power supply may employ solar panel technology, capacitive technology, nanotechnology, or electro-mechanical technology, for example, as a means to generate and distribute electrical current.

It’s stated purpose is to allow better “signal to noise ratio” when communicating on your smart phone, tablet, etc in a noisy environment.

“Truthers”, Sandy Hook and the Boston Bombing: Inside the minds of conspiracy theorists

YOU ARE READING THIS ON AN NSA-CONTROLLED “SHILL” WEB SITE!

Know how I know that? Conspiracy theorists said so.

A couple of weeks ago I published an essay titled “Refuting Wolfgang Halbig, a Sandy Hook ‘truther’” (http://chrishernandezauthor.com/2014/03/02/refuting-a-sandy-hook-truther/). Halbig is supposedly a former police officer and “expert” on school shootings. According to numerous web sites quoting an interview he gave, he claims no children were killed at Sandy Hook elementary school in December 2012. He believes the Sandy Hook massacre was a “scripted event”.

Halbig had a list of eighteen points that supposedly “prove” Sandy Hook never happened. Using my experience as a police officer and active shooter instructor, I refuted each one. Some of Halbig’s points were pretty stupid (he apparently thought when someone is shot to death, all the blood drains from their body) and others were just, well, meaningless (the United Way raised money for the parents of…

blarvink : Adam Lanza’s second username revealed

Sandy Hook Lighthouse

Update 1/18/2014 – stumbled across a picture I forgot to add from the official report, essentially confirming that the gamefaqs user below is indeed the shooter (same obscure game that Blarvink added on gamefaqs was found on Lanza hard drive):

SHL-adamlanza-cowhunter

I’m not aware of anything significant about the gamefaqs account, it just reads like any teenager posting about video games, but this page is getting a lot of traffic for some reason so I thought I’d add this tidbit in case anyone was wondering if it was really him.

Original post:

According to the appendices search warrants attached to yesterday’s report, Lanza played “World of Warcraft” under the avatar name “blarvink”. Third-party WoW tracking sites still list some stats for the character. (update: removed link, since there are multiple WoW characters with that avatar name, and it’s not clear yet which would have been Lanza’s.)

Meanwhile, there did…
